Medevio connects doctors and centers

AsthmaLine by Medevio is a simple application that allows you to refer a patient to the NCTA (National Center for Severe Asthma) without the need for phone calls, sending patients with requests, or email communication.

Medevio also assists over 1,700 doctors and nurses with additional tasks, whether it’s routine communication between the practice and patients or communication related to prevention and treatment.

The Field Specialist Selects a Patient for Referral

The doctor clicks the "Refer Patient" button in the app, fills in the patient’s basic information, or selects from their list of recorded patients.

Completing a Standardized Questionnaire and Sending the Request to the Center

The doctor fills out a questionnaire designed in collaboration with the centers to assess the patient’s condition and facilitate an invitation for an initial consultation.

All information and requests are conveniently organized in one place. If needed, secure in-app communication allows for further exchange of documents and additional information.

Project Motivation

There is a lack of a simple, standardized digital communication channel between outpatient doctors and specialized care centers. This often results in repeated contacts and lengthy information exchanges before a patient can be assessed. Given the heavy workload on both sides, this type of communication presents a significant challenge.
